Final painting of Liturgical Art
The beginning goal of having a piece of artwork designed, created and installed for our Easter worship this year is on track. A team was formed to study the text for
Easter Sunday and give ideas to a design team, which designed and hones the project for installation on Easter Sunday. Another part of this process is to involve as
many of the congregation as possible, so the “good Congregational church” has a valuable hand in the project. There are still opportunities for you to be a part of this process. We hope you will consider joining us for the final painting on Saturday, March 24th, 10am-4pm or to help with installation of the art on Friday, April 6th, beginning at 1:00 pm. Another way you can get a taste of the art is to join us at 9:00 am, Sunday, March 25th, where I will be presenting a “snapshot” picture of the
Nancy Chinn process. It is a “hands on” experience, which allows you to get an understanding of and an appreciation for the visual arts.
