Week of January 13-20, 2008

     Eternal God, Creator and Redeemer of all,

              in the midst of our joys and sorrows,

              our smiles and tears,

              our health and suffering,

              our belief and doubt,

              our fears and our hopes,

              we give you thanks that you are always with us.

     We pray that you would help us acknowledge our failures,

              admit them to you,

              and set them aside through your forgiveness.

     We pray that you would increase the delight we experience:

              delight in this wonderful world in which we live,

              and delight with all the people of our lives.

     Help us really know the love that you offer, through all creation,

              and help us share that love with others.

     We pray in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
